DHA Gujranwala Development Plans for 2021 | Location Ballot | DHA Villas, Apartments | ARY Laguna

The DHA Gujranwala is efficiently working towards the planning and execution of work at site with development concluded for the Main Entrance, Site Office, the Main Road and the Main Boulevard in year 2020 despite the Covid-19 outbreak bringing a halt around the globe. With the world learning to adapt to this new normal and simultaneously resuming operations, pace of development at DHA Gujranwala has been boosted. Subsequently, an entire plan has been devised with priorities set in mind to keep focused development continuing. Development plans for the year 2021 is as mentioned:

  • Green DHA
    DHA Gujranwala has planned for the provision of a green vicinity. A horticultural site has been created for plantations across the area. Moreover, an aesthetic layout of green belts has been spread with solar energized street lighting systems to illuminate and adorn the surroundings. The spread of horticulture and green belts give a facelift to any housing society and therefore are effectively being worked on along with other developments.

  • Broad Road Network
    DHA Gujranwala is a unique DHA project situated on the main GT Road. It has a signal free corridor with three entrances to the society. Substantial work has been done to meet the requirements of a modern road network system and has a 200 ft wide boulevard for convenient mobilization. The road network includes service lanes, green belts, roads and footpaths for both the residential and commercial sectors. The construction is already under process and is going to continue to other phases in 2021.

  • Commercial Sector
    A commercial sector has been placed on both sides right at the entrance of DHA Gujranwala which is adjacent to the Main GT Road. Development here is under process and is being executed.The land spread for this respective commercial area comprises a division of 4 Marla, 8 Marla and 1Kanal plots with spacious parking facilities in the vicinity of the shopping area. This would improve the outlook of the entire DHA.

  • Residential Sector
    A residential sector consisting of 5 Marla, 8 Marla, 10 Marla and 1 & 2 Kanal plots is connected to the main GT Road having an independent entrance through the 150 ft wide – 6 lane main boulevard and a sub-entrances. It includes a commercial area with 4 Marla and 8 Marla commercial plots and 2 Marla sectoral shops for the facilitation of DHA’s residents. The sector will have all the facilities like electricity, gas, sewerage system, a sectoral mosque, parks and a water tank of a100,000 gallons. The developmental work here is being done by NLC. In addition to this, two new residential sectors are under planning for our members.

  • Water System
    The water system for DHA Gujranwala and two overhead water tanks of 100,000 gallons for the commercial and residential sector are under construction on full stride. These are expected to be completed within the first half of 2021.

  • Sectoral Mosque
    DHA pays special attention to religious harmony and close binding of the local community for which a Sectoral Mosque is planned to be developed on an area of 6 Kanals with both a main prayer hall and an open courtyard. The construction of the sectoral mosque is likely to begin in the first quarter of 2021.

  • Underground Electrification
    The underground electrification of the sector is of vital priority for DHA Gujranwala and therefore, designs have been submitted for in depth critical and technical examination to GEPCO. The MOU signing is under process currently and execution of work is likely to begin in the first quarter of 2021.

  • DHA Grid Stations
    DHA, for the assurance of smooth supply of electricity, is constructing two of its own Grid Stations of 220 and 132 KV’s in the commercial sector. The work is expected to start in the second half of 2021 after approvals for the designs are received by GEPCO.

  • DHA Apartments
    A combination of luxury and hybrid apartment plans are in line for a launch. Modern and classy apartments both of 3 bedrooms and 4 bedrooms with access to recreational areas, jogging and cycling tracks, bamboo garden, balconies with terrace-bbq area, seating and planters, roof gardens, indoor and pent restaurants, capacious residential and guest parking are planned to be developed to provide convenience and a living of great grandeur. The apartment locality is planned to be built on 134 Kanals of land with a mosque for the vicinity along with a sports centre, community club and a commercial area-DHA Galleria(shops, market area, atrium).Planning for designs and maps for DHA Apartments has begun.

  • DHA Villas
    The plan for DHA Villas is under formation. Villas of 5, 6 and 10 Marlas are formulated to be launched. These are going to be examples of posh living redefined with biometric entrance, solar power, online electrical and gas controls, digital billing services, plug & play (TV & internet), e-security cameras and smoke detectors. These shall be offered to all the members of DHA Gujranwala.

  • Parks
    The construction of parks is scheduled to be started in order to facelift the entire look of the housing society. The parks are to include plantations, walking tracks, swings etc. for an overall aesthetic layout.

  • Balloting
    The location balloting for commercial and residential plots is scheduled to be conducted this year.

  • Land Acquisition
    Land acquisition is an ongoing process. DHA Gujranwala is highly committed to the objective of land acquisition at rapid pace for development to be carried out in wholesome manner.

  • Launching of ARY Laguna
    As our working members know MOU has already been signed between DHA Gujranwala and ARY for ARY Laguna, it will be formally launched during this year. Membership forms and applications will be made available for the general public.
